I'm running it on Windows 7 x64 Dell inspiron. I get to the splash screen and it crashes/stops or whatever. Nothing comes up after it. I put it in my program files x86 in a folder called SC4mapper in the C:/ drive. Any help?

Do you get a dump or a traceback? There is a published patch (I don't have a reference, sorry) and you do need the Python run time (free). Check at sc4devotion.

From memory, Mapper has issues with file paths with /U in them. Like the C:/Users path. It's a quirk in the programming that the creator never saw fit to fix.

The way to fix it is to fool Mapper into thinking that it's on a WinXP system by making it look for C:/Documents and Settings instead, and provide a redirect to the Users directory.

    Instructions are provided here: http://sc4devotion.c...93342#msg393342
