Bad crashes

Something has just come up today: Whenever I load a city, my game crashes immediately. I don't know why, but this is all of a sudden. I can load the region and the city, but after a few seconds, the game crashes right back down to the desktop. I removed my most recent plugins to see if that was the problem, but it wasn't. Please help, this isn't good.

Could be a corrupt city. Can you load other cities? What if you just sit looking at the region map for a while?

I can stare at the region for hours and it won't do anything. Other cities are fine, but a couple, which I haven't been in for a while (maybe a month) crash immediately. I haven't played for a while, and now I've just started again, and for the first time in weeks I entered these cities and they crashed. I don't know what to do with these corrupt cities.

Well, if you can get into other cities on the same region, then it could be a plugin conflict. Rename your Plugins folder to Plugins.old and see if you can start the game and enter the 'bad' cities. If you can, it is a plugin problem, and you'll have to do a hunt for the incompatibilities.
