Strange issue running the game...

    Hello all,

    It's been a long while since I've played SC4, after seeing previews for sc2013 I decided to play again.

    After installing it+Rush Hour, patching it, and then installing the latest NAM I started a new city.

    After a few hours of play with no problem my game started alt-tabbing on it's own..minimizing to desktop. When I maximize it back to play some more it will do it again and again every 5 minutes or so then eventually just crash without any error messages.

    Does anyone have an idea why this is happening or how to fix it?

    I've already tried updating my video card driver, but it didn't solve the issue.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated,

    My deadly sinning friend, we'll have to have more information than that. Please describe your machine in some detail, your operating system, its update status, and which patch level your game is at.

    What you describe seems to be from running in Windows mode. I've never heard of a program that took itself out of execution, so I suggest the following:

    1. Close all other apps running (in the background)

    2. Try running in full screen mode

    3. Try running with no plugins (rename your Plugins folder to Plugins.hold. The game will make a new, empty one.)

    Each of these suggestions is separate.
