ARIANA'S DRAWING WORK SHOP

Since I do not have a computer and it does not look like I will get one soon. I have decided to draw instead. I am currently working on drawing The Prancing Poney Inn from L.O.T.R.

Tolkiens original blue print and drawing of the Inn and not Hollywoods versions or The Wetta Workshops version either.

I will post updates when I can.

I am still learning to draw in 3D and I am having some trouble getting the roof drawn.

When I worked on the Sim Mars stuff all my drawings were done in 2D.

This is a challenge to me and I know that one day when I finally get a Laptop I will know this building very well and will be able to do it in Gmax with much better details than my prev work on here either for The Sim Mars project or just stuff I have done on here for SC4 itself.

I do have some Sim Mars Drawings Started but not ready to be drawn in 3D yet as my brain is still trying to process the images to transfer to a 3D picture.

I will post pictures when I can.

I am having better luck with my drawing. Learned or refreshed my memory today on how to do one point perspective and two point perspective drawing. I was going to post my picture here but need to figure out how to get the link over here from photobucket. Ill figure it out tomorrow.

here are the two drawings I have for you. These are just minni updates. I tend to post updates as I get them done. This is a one point perspective drawing of The Prancy Poney from Lord Of The Ring J.R.R. Tolkiens original Blue Prints and Drawing. Not Holly woods Version or the Wetta workshops.

Still working on the archway which has been difficult for me to figure out. the chimney is looking better than my prev attempts. I still have the stairway and the side door to get in along with part of the hill and two hobbit room windows. I also still have one more chimney to get in as well. once the main pieces are in I can add more details of this building.

I welcome any comments

I think it would fit considering the original building from which this was based on by Tolkien was located in England somewhere.

Somwhere in my prev threads I had posted a picture of the building ill have to see if i can get another posted here.

I will be posting an update on The Prancing Pony soon. I have completed a great deal of the building.

 

The building is just a drawing when ever I get a PC I will transfer it to BAT...

Well I have been busy over the winter with other projects but here is an update of the prancing pony I was working on when I last was here.

 

 

as you can see I have managed to finish more of this building. When I get my current project finished I will work on this one again.  fighterfungus I will get some pics of the LOTR stuff as the days go by. Sorry I have been gone so long but I had a lot of things to take care of since October I am back now and to stick around now.

 

 

This drawing is in 2 point perspective and done on 14x18 sheet of drawing paper. at the back of this building I am placing the hobbit rooms and the side door and stairs leading into the side door. I am making this side door also in an archway doorway felt it goes better with the round hobbit windows.

finally finished my drawing of the  Mars Tower for the Sim Mars Project. Several sheets of graph paper later and several hours of work.

 

The top you see will be the dome and  for some reason this drawing ended up being uneven I think it was cause of the graph paper not being the same. It does however show the general Idea.

Good evening, I am once again working on both my mars tower and the prancing pony inn. I put them aside for the summer.

The tower was messed up becaus i used different sheets of graph paper. It is in the process of being redrawn.
