how do i uninstall a terrain mod?

Hi, im new to the wonderfull world of modding... and pc illiterate, dangerous combination i no. I downloaded the CPT_OlympicTerrainMod.exe, plus the CPT_No3_TerrainTextures.exe, CPT_No4_TerrainTextures.exe. There in my plugins an works fine. My question is how do i remove them an return to the standard terrain?

You just delete the relevant files from your plugins folder again.

    Hi thanks for the reply, ive tried just deleting them from the plugins file. But the mods still in effect when i play the game.

    Ok, it usually does the trick for me. Have you read the readme files for each mod, they should be located in the folder containing the .exe files? They normally contain instructions for installation and uninstallation procedures.

    Hi, thanks again, yup ive read the read me, an it does say just delete them..but it doesnt work..still loads up with the mod. The fies are all .exe files, application type, have to initially install them, not just put in plugins an off they go.

    Well, the .exe file does all the work for you in terms of placing the files in a subfolder in your plugins folder. I don't see why the changes have no effect when you manually delete all the stuff that the installer added to your plugins folder. Make sure that you catch everything that was added and try restarting your computer. That's all I know.

    Hi at last got rid of the bloody thing. Was a file , terrain essentials id missed. Thanks for all the advice. You no what the best thing is about this site? Not the amazing mods, bats n lots, its the people on it. Thanks again.
