These are a couple of mods that I've seen people use but I never seem to find them!

Does anyine know where to find?

1. Diagonal Streets
   
2. Proper Roundabouts- I got a filler pack but I couldn't put any roundabouts in!
   

Or is it something in the default game that I'm missing?

Do you have the latest version of the NAM installed. As far as I know both of these can be made with the NAM.

The mod you would be looking for is the Network Addon Mod (normally referred to as the NAM). This is by far the most recommended and profound mod available and personally I can't recommend it highly enough . As far as I recall, there is a link for downloading it in one of the stickies for this forum. Please be aware that you need to have a fully uptodate SC4 before you can install NAM.

You are indeed searching for the Network Addon Mod (version 30), which can be found here [off-site link]. Make sure you download and install the main Network Addon Mod, as well as the latest Hotfix (301).

As stated in the NAM document, you must update your game to at least 1,1,638 or higher. Check your update status by navigating to C:\Program Files ...\SimCity 4 ...\Apps\SimCity 4.exe and hover your mouse over the file. It will tell you your version level.
