Problems loading custom terrain

    I'm using Gimp and Paint Brush to design my custom terrain. I've done this many times and have succeed in loading them into the Game. Some of them for some odd reason will not load up. I have the right size (1025=1025) and it's a gray scale image. I save them twice, a BMP and a PNG. I also have the right size config. This frustrates me. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
