My username 'Yuuka' is a sadistic sunflower demoness that literally kills anyone who touches her sunflowers( From touhou ). Also, to me 221 is 2:21 PM, this could probably mean her favorite time to garden. I'm not sure why I picked 221 at all.

Mine is an old school nickname, which I never found out the origins of. It has been my online name of choice for years now.

ROFLyoshi.

I've always used Yoshi in Nintendo games for as long as I can remember, Yoshi's Story was my 3rd birthday present. I used to go by Yoshi64 but that name was taken on some forums so I changed all my stuff to ROFLyoshi. Why? Because I thought it sounded okay, back in Year 8. I don't use "internet speak", but the name has still stuck.

I used a random number generator to choose each of the three characters in my name. That over-priced clothing company ripped me off!! /Sarcasm

My nick name all through high school was "Skittles"...

This is more to your avatar than your name - but as a kid I LOVED Winnie the Pooh!

Names can be deceptive, I assumed you were a geeky type and AIX referred to the unix flavour.

When I first started playing Sim City, back on Sim City for the SNES, I was a boy of 9.

My 9 year old self had some trouble with the game at first. I didn't really understand what was going on. As a result, I had plenty of failed and stalled cities.

Determined to fill the entire map, I started a new city. In trying to think of random words for a city... The words "Pin" and "Star" poped into my head...sounded good together and fit in the city name field.

The City of Pinstar became my very first success. While I didn't hit megalopolis, I did fill the map without cheats. Shortly after that...my parents got AOL and I was asked to create a screen name. With the name "Pinstar" still on my brain, it became my universal internet screenname.

And here I thought you might be an IBM AIX user.  As UNIX implementations go, it is pretty good system V.

I had no idea "AIX" was so widely used.

On other sites where "AIX" isn't available, I often go by "Jeremie NX". The "NX" often refers to the class designation for experimental starships in Star Trek (Enterpise series excluded). I am always the first to sign up for betas or try new/unproven software, so I think it fits.

Ah, Winnie the Pooh, hearing the song ('Gotta get up, gotta get going,...') still makes my eyes somewhat wet :P And I use the picture because I love Winnie the Pooh, but I also somewhat resemble Christopher Robin (especially the colour of my hair)
