I hope these help you out. The first pic is of an airport I did ages ago:

And I hope you don't mind, but I'm gonna post two more pictures of Frankfurt airport, because I recently found them really helpful when I was trying to build a realistic airport for my CJ.

I know its just one airport of thousands but together the map and the aerial might give you some ideas? I would recommend searching Google for maps of airports, because you get can find some great aerial pictures to help you.

I posted this the other day in another thread. I also created an island just for the airport.

I've since fixed the texture problem with Joergs airport pack.

dsands how did you get proper diagonals and curves like that? I saw an airport done like that in the Edmonton CJ thread, but it was explained there is was a future airport mod? Is this the same, or did you make your own texture set or something? I'd love to know, because that looks so much better than the standard ones - very realistic.

And I must thank Joerg and Thalassicus and any others who have worked on the the airport aspect for SC4. THANKS!!44.gif

It's much better than the older version! It has curved taxiways and awesome runways!!!!29.gif It's definately more realistic!
