How to Delete (default) Landmarks?

Hi

Can I delete the default landmarks from the game without it throwing a wobbily? If so, how do I do this?

I'll never want to build the Hollywood sign or Big Ben, so would prefer them to be out of that menu so I can build what I have installed.

I have often thought the same thing, but they are built-in to one of the five .dat files in the system residency, and you'd only get them back if you did a reinstall. You would have to edit the file(s) with ilive's reader, and that can be rather tricky. I just skip over them, and put up with the inconvenience.

With luck, this will not be the case with the new SimCity (5?).

You can try remove Maxis Landmarks from Menu with "The Maxis Content Removal System Mod"

Yes, a mod that lets you remove both this and any other Maxis content you want can be found here.. Dunno if that was the one Silur was talking about, but same concept
