Issue with SC4lot files

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with SC4lot files, they don't work at all, or either do not show the custom texture (and not even brown boxes are shown). I have SC4 Deluxe edition with latest patch installed (1.638) and I tried putting the files in both of the Plugin directories but to no use. I can't understand what the problem is, I tried running the game in compatibility mode (XP SP2) and as administratore but nothing seems to work.

Other plugins work as intended.

Help, anybody?

That's weird,check the graphical options & see if everything is

set to high.

If needed instructions to check the options:

Start the game then on region view go to the right side top of the

screen click the 3 dots icon then on the menu that pops up click

the monitor icon then see if texture quality & city detail are set to

high if not then set it & hit accept.

What do you mean by "don't work at all!, could you be more specific?

When custom textures are missing, you have downloaded a lot that needs a texture pack (dependency). They do not show brown boxes when they are missing, but usually white, black or transparent textures. Go back where you downloaded that specific lot that has a missing texture, read the instructions and/or the readme file that is included in the download and download the mentioned dependency, whether it is a proppack or texture pack and then the lot should be ok in your game.

Just in case you don't know, all goes into the MyDocuments/Simcity4/Plugins folder.

I found out that I was missing bldprop_vol1, bldprop_vol2 and Castleset, everything is working fine now.

Well that was going to be my next suggestion that you were missing dependencies

or the bld prop files.Glade you got it working.
