So okay, I've never downed a region before so this is entirely 'new'. I used the article in the Omnibus to help since the game didn't render. It does however, has the new city-tiles figured out. =/ So I work down the list with the other possible ways of getting the darn game to render the new land but....none of them worked! :( So I'm really :???: now and here asking for help.

BTW, I don't know if it matters, but this is the one I downed.: Anrhem and Nijmegen - Netherlands by Izidor44

It is an SC4M file, so you need Mapper or Terraformer to render it.

It may be easier to use these tools for people creating maps, but they do not render in-game. External programs are something that are a great nuisance. If you get a trace with a lot of .py and .pyo suffixes in them, you need to download the Python run-time.

    *facepalm

In that case I will be forced to go the length to down Mapper or Terraformer....both are programs I never used and never will..... I'm actually amazed that after all these years no one has actually been able to bypass this. >:(

The problem is that some people just can't handle manipulating gray-scale bit maps, and they have used their limited programming skills to create a new protocol, which is totally unnecessary. Greyveil's Landscape Designer tool will show you a false color image of your gray-scale map, correct its dimensions if necessary, and help you generate the config.bmp files. In its default set up, it will generate random region maps as well.

According to the download page of this map, by the way, you are named as the requester. Be careful what you wish for, you might get it.

yeah, I know that I requested it :P Seems I've dug a grave deeper then I can handle. It took me a lot of effort to learn the basics of greyscale (still not fully developed), but this is going to be a daunting task for me as I don't understand much of computers anyways. :(

I'm letting this go since it's going completely over my head now. Thanks for your replies Moose.
