Error with installing product

I've been trying to install Sim City 4 Deluxe, but it comes up with this:

You have entered an invalid code. Please check that you entered the code correctly and included all spaces.

Problem is I can't add spaces because it only allows me four digits in one box. I have just recieved the game. Has the code been stolen?

I am running windows seven if that helps.

If you purchased it from a reliable dealer, return it for a new copy of the game. Recently some issues have been improperly coded, especially those in the SimCity Box.
