Cassidino City

Hello everyone,

I have just continued playing SimCity after a 1 year break. Over the past the week, I have been building the City of Cassidino, which I plan to be a large city with a dense inner core surrounded by a large urban sprawl, which has been inspired by the urban layout of my home city of Brisbane, Australia.

So far, I have built my inner city and CBD, and have just commenced the labourious task of constructing my urban spawl. I plan to have several 'satellite' cities form around the core. As you may notice, I have already build a ring-road of highway around my CBD and surrounding suburbs, inspired by the ring road in Melbourne. I have used several mods, including NAM. Since I stopped playing a year ago, I have lost many of the mods I once had, so I am going to download some more. If anyone has any suggestions for good commercial office towers for my city centre, please link it here. Anyway, here is a small shot of my city so far:

Sorry if it isn't as good as many of the others on this thread- once again I have just begun. Will improve the city in time.

    I sure hope that those Hobbits to the east aren't up to any trouble...

    Haha the residents of Cassidino are such huge Lord of the Rings fans that they renamed an entire city in its honour :thumb:
