Question about the ST EXchange

My family recently bought a new computer after not having a working one for 2 years, when we did buy the computer, I also was able to also purchase Simcity 4 (It did not have the expansion pack, I looked all over NYC and I couldn't find a store that sold Simcity 4, so I had to settle) I have every intention of buying the expansion pack online in a few months when my bills clear up, but are there any BAT's and MOD's that are compatible for Simcity 4 without the Expansion Pack? I know the the NAM definitely requires the Expansion Pack, but I would love to find some BAT's and MOD's that don't require the Expansion Pack to add realism to the game.....thanks for reading and answering (that is...if you do answer)

By not having the expansion pack do you mean that you DON'T have SC4 Rush Hour or SC4 Deluxe? If this is the case you have the original SC4 (Vanilla) and while I do believe there are some items that you can download off of the exchange there are few and they are not the most popular that you always see in City Journals and such. If you have vanilla SC4, your best bet is to start from the deepest ends of the STEX.. Go to the last page and start there... Things made in 03/04 before BAT became avaliable may work for you.

I 'm not sure know if earlier uploads still existing would work, because my first uploads are gone with the last upgrade of the site. But maybe if you download the buildings as props vol1 and vol2, you might still try to get some later ones.

If these two files work with Vanilla (which I am not sure neither), then you can download all the "Nexis" files until 2005 and they should work. Do a search for Nexis and check the dates.... ;)Old, but at the time, they were #1.
