The first image is the RTMTv3 folder in my plugin folder.

The second is 2 shots from north and south.

busstop_boxes.jpg

Notice that the sign and phone show up. The road markings appear when I rotate before the boxes redraw. Am I missing something, or doing something wrong?

If I use the file RTMTV3_PropS_BusStop_TfL.dat I can get that bus stop to show. None of the others work. Subway steps and all ancillary props work. Only having trouble with the bus stops. Any ideas? Cogeo? Anybody?

Some model files for the props (basically bus-stops) have not been included in the package because they had been made by other members and it would not be appropriate to do so as long as their models are available on the STEX.
So, these models must be downloaded and installed separately - this is also known as dependencies.

This is mentioned both in the readme file and the plugin's Description on the STEX post, in red letters.

The readme contains a table with all dependencies and detailed installation instructions. If you had already downloaded and installed these plugins you won't need to install them again. Of course, you will only need to install the models for the props that you intend to use (the ones you like).

Thanks. I think I get it now.

This plugin has multiple configuration options. Please check the documentation and take the little time necessary to configure your installation properly. Also download and install the few dependencies required, so as to avoid brown boxes.

Seems like a kind of overly high-level description when Bus stop models are not included for some versions, but links are provided, would have been all I needed to know.

I assumed that if I wanted Big Blue for example that RTMTV3_PropS_BusStop_BigBlue.dat was what I needed (in single mode). The simple fact that a link was there was not enough of a clue for me since I'm not expert about models, lots, bats, props.

Maybe you should put some text next to those links and mention that the needed model can be found here. Redundant, maybe, since that info could probably be parsed from reading (and understanding) the extensive Readme, but it just might save you from having to respond to people like me.

    But maybe I'm just thick.

Thanks for helping me and thanks for the excellent work.

Ok... I have read the readme included with rtmt and still can't figure it out. Can's someone just release a zip file will all the required files and just credit the creators? Please????

I'm a total dunce with things like this!

I couldn't figure out the read me file either. I thought that if I wanted to use certain models I had to go download them as they're not included, but that there was still a default set up that would work without any additional downloads. So I deleted any of the items that appeared from the read me to have dependencies. There does not appear to be a default, generic set of models. I really didn't care enough to go hunting for what I needed (have you used the ST search feature!? yikes!) so I just removed the whole thing and went back to the previous version of RTMT where the bus/subway combo avenue stops don't work for subways. Lesser of two bugs.

Could you please post a pic (screenshot) of the RTMTV3 and RTMTV3\Props subfolders? Pls select View->Details in your Explorer menu.

You need to configure the installation (use either single props or prop-families for busstop & subway props, delete unwanted props, install dependencies for those you have chosen to use). You can choose amongst 25 busstop and 16 subway props, and you can configure the installation so that only some of them will be used; you need to install dependencies only for those you have chosen to use. That is the dependencies are only some prop models, and they are listed in section 5 of the readme. You won't usually need to install more than two or three dependencies. And yes, there are certain prop combinations that do not have dependencies, or that are already included.
