Maxis Props Gone!

The Problem was found and this question is now obsolete. Thank-you to all the people that helped out!

Well, since this forum was so helpful last time I had a problem I decided too post my next problem.

This problem is slightly more urgent than the last, and it is that all my Maxis fence props, car props (not the ones on the road), and driveways have completely dissapeared! This just happened yesterday almost directly after I downloaded the Pyrenean Terrain Mod. I'm not sure what has happened and I thoughtyou guys could help. I really don't want to do the simple thing and uninstall the mod because it is so awesome, but if I have too, I guess I will :(.

In other notes: I bought the game at a store and not used and I've never had this problem before.

And here is a picture of what it looks like

Notice the somewhat lack of fences and driveways to each home.

If you know how to fix this or have some insight into this please tell me! Anything helps.

Thanks!

It may be your graphics options... I have had the same problem and the settings were the problem. If city detail, or something along those lines, is set to low or medium, that may be your problem. That setting is under the graphics settings panel.

Hope this helps. :)

Another point is that you are missing the published patches. What is the build number of your game? In windows explorer navigate to C:/program files/maxis/simcity 4 deluxe/apps and hover over the simcity 4.exe file when windows 7 should display the build (version) number.

I'm currently playing on a windows vista 32 bit and it is only updated to the update you need to get BAT night lights.

I believe that the graphics settings are reset when you update the game, so City Detail might be set to low again. Set it to high and all your props will appear (at least, they should appear)

Thank-you for all of your answers! They actually worked and I'm very happy :) . I guess you were right, the graphics settings were on low for some reason, and I set them back to high. This brought all of the driveways, fences and cars back.

    Once again thank-you.

You are welcome. The nightlights update is the last one, so you have them all.
