Have anyone noticed that the game is about eighties? In fact, it suits well with

Back to the Future trilogy (the parts that are happening in eighties).

    Clues:

    1. Look of the buildings. They are definitely not from the turn of the century.

    2. Cars. When you change your sim's car, you'll never find new, young cars. Too bad I haven't found DeLorean DMC-12 in the list. (Maybe someone has a mod for it?)

    3. Soundtrack. Even "Janitor" (or how is named the song from intro? I am using the Russified version) has this nice bit of eighties saxophone.

Conclusion: you can build your own Hill Valley in SimCity, including the ravine, the bridge through the ravine and the railway crossing near the bridge through the ravine. The only thing you won't be able to build is Lyon Estates sign.

    Truly yours.

    Welcome to Simtropolis

If you want that sign, you will have to learn to use the Building Architect Tool. Shouldn't be too hard to make a couple of park lots with the two signs.

Here's the Delorean DMC-12, both stock and flux capacitor-ized: Back to the Future Delorean

These are not automata, just props. So if you want to see them in-game, you'll have to create a lot and put them on it -- maybe a suburban shopping mall parking lot like the one where Doc Brown first unveiled his invention to Marty. This pack of Surf Shacks contains a .dat file with VW Bus props in it, but I don't think any of them have RPG-wielding Libyans sticking out of the sun roof. VW Bus automata can be found here.
