This is fantastic Gizmo! Great work!

I think what SAC was saying though, was that having the transparent water mod on its own would be good, ie without the plants. I too have sometimes thought it would be useful to be able to see the bottom of the rivers and oceans.

Anyway thanks for all the hard work, this is a great mod! I've been hoping for one like this for a while. Thanks

for the best water transparity effects .Using Ilive reader open gizmos water flora mod . the only two properties changed are Water Depth for max alpha wich is 500 if you lower that to 70 .and the other water min alpha is 4B wich translates to 75 lower that to 19 wish translates to 25.
this lets to see the under water plants clearly wile still making the water dark enough for the ships to apper right pluse with the added benfit of still being able to tarform the ocean bottom to a much deeper depth .

Ok since I've gotten at least 20 pms with complaints about the water, I went and played with it and got this now, dont think it's going to get  any better then this though, what do you think of this now.

 

Note to the complainers:

You should be grateful for what you get, modding is changing/adding things that are normally available in the game, sometimes things cant be perfect, if you dont like it then DON'T use the mod and stop complaining.

Gizmo I for one wasent complaning I think all your Mods are GREAT!!! good job the Best a ten. as for any changes I think of I just implement them my self Mod the mod lol. But with out people like you there would be NO mod to begine with . Im just lucky enough that I have learned how to use the mod tools like live to fine tune the mod to were i personily like it

I purposely made the water transparent so you can see the flora, if I take it out, theres no point in having the underwater flora then.

I havent got done uploading alot of the stuff(only what you see is what i have done so far), I've been really busy at work and when i get home i dont feel like doing much of anything but lie down and rest, worked 75 hour work weeks for the last 3 weeks and im finally getting a day off this wed and will have everything up by then or late tomorrow, I'm really sorry.

I just love your waterplants and I have used them all over my CJ, but mostly above ground and on riverbanks and lakeshores. I was wondering though, if it is possible to release it without the transparent watermod nor without any watermod, which does not always look good, besides waterplants only grow in very shallow water. I don't think that this should be a big job to do, but it will surely be appreciated by a lot of folks, including me!

I used to use these plants everywhere I can, but I got tired of the transparent water now.

All these new flora will be selectable from the mayor mode tree menu and dont replace any of the default trees, these do not grow.

Heres some pictures of the flora and you can see the menu with the icons also.
