How to avoid duplicate posts when you get an error after pressing the post button.

    Until the "system overload" problems are solved, when you get a 500 message after you have pushed the post button try this:

    1. Back up to the page you were just on.
    2. Open the same forum in a new tab and see if you are the last poster on that thread. If you are, you can just close the tab with your post in it. If not, the push the post button again.
    3. This procedure should help to avoid duplicate posts.

    Beware: Emancipated user.  No Windoze for me.

    2] Refresh the page. (Do not hit the post button)

    2 is a must, just because it gives you an error does not mean the server did not get your data, the data you send(your post) is much smaller than the reply(php,html,css,js,images,etc). Back in ST6 when the server was slow if you make a post and it is slow your post is there, the server just has not replied yet.
