Grey ground textures

    I've recently installed a few additional plugins, among them being the snowcapped mod, realistic water mod and a few buildings (BSC WTC). I have however encoutered an issue with the ground textures:

    Normal undeveloped ground isn't affected, only lots. I have removed the realistic water mod without any effect and removing the snowcapped mod makes even undeveloped ground grey.

    I am running SC4 DE, no patches. Issue is the same on two computers when transfering the plugins and maps (i7 with 540M GT and W7 64-bit and C2D with 460 GTX and W7 32-bit respectively)

    If you loaded the game from disks and you do not have the EP1 patch (bug fixes) and the BATupdate, you really can't run with custom content most of which expects both. You can get them from SC4Devotion (free registration). The link is the the left hand frame at the bottom (EA support).

    Be sure you get the correct version of EP1, as it is regional depending on place of purchase.

    Games loaded from legal download sellers are already patched. In this case, please tell us the details of your machine.
