Editing a building's properties?

Is there a modd or programme that allows you to edit a building's properties- for example to change the number of occupants from any building in SC4 (including ones downloaded from the STEX), changing a building from CS to CO etc?

Also, does anyone know what happened to the industry quadrupler file? I hate having to have sprawling industrial zones when each factory unrealistically employs only 40 people! I cannot seem to find this modd on the STEX?

I use SC4Tool as it can edit most properties of a building/lot and it's fairly user-friendly. If it doesn't do what you want you could use ilive's Reader (though I find it a bit complex).

The Industry Quadrupler has been removed from the STEX.. (or it suffered the same thing that happened to the NAM earlier).

Either way it is gone..

thanks for your replies, very helpful indeed. Is it normal for the SC4Tool programme to freeze after its been opened? does it take a while to 'import' all of the buildings and plugin buildings that I'm using?

apologies, i just found a solution to the freezing issue of SC4Tool, its working now. I just have to figure out how to use it now!
