Building Skyscrapers

I just got back to playing SC4 and have gmax and b.a.t and need a tutorial on how to build a decent skyscraper. Anything would be great, thanks.

BATing a skyscraper is no different than BATing anything else in Gmax...the tutorials that Aaron has mentioned are more than enough in order to get the hang of BATing.

If you plan to do a skyscraper, you might want to use the "array" tool (Tools-Array).

It allows you to create as many copies as you want of a given object, and while doing so to move them by a given amout.

It is really useful when you have many identical and repeated elements, like in skyscrapers.Rather than modelling them one-by-one you can just model one of them, and then use the array tool to create the others.
