Graphical glitches in widescreen?

I'm actually testing something that may fix this assuming it's a BIGGER issue than this topic is meant to explore, but JUUUUUUUUSSSSST in case it's a maxis issue that can be solved, I want to ask here.

After a quick google search days ago I got my sc4de to load in 1920X1080 and that's cool, but now whenever I change the zoom level, and some things that I don't even understand, I begin to have some graphical issues. Artifacts and huge colored spikes form in areas, as things struggle to catch up with rendering. 5-25 seconds waiting and it fixes, but the point is it happens a LOT and is quite debilitating during the experience as I cannot see what anything actually IS.

As I have a new GFX card I don't know if this could be related because of new hardware, or even because I have been much more confident now, and use my games at literally the max setting possible. V=Could this be a cause? Perhaps I should tone down the AA or AS filtering? If anyones ever encountered this I'd love to know. If someone actually things a dxdiag is useful I'll snag it but it's tedious to post on everything. My card is an Nvidia Geforce GTX 560TI.

It would help if you posted a complete system specification.

I would suggest setting a graphic options to "let applications decide" or something synonym to that. SC4 is allergic to many graphic features, even anti-aliasing.
