Welcome to the Island nation of Inishmore! Below are some introductory shots of the sprawling island community. Abrief history of the place; the name Inishmore is Irish for big island (based on the real inishmore island off the coast of Ireland).

Current Population - 450,394

Map - The Two Sisters

The Island is quite mixed in the fact that on one side you have very wealthy areas and on the other, you have the working class areas close to their place of work (the docklands)

Excellent beginning! You've got a bustling metropolis... great job! :D

thanks guys, next update will be early next week sometime, iv got work in the weekend and wont be near a comp! keep the comments coming! im still undecided as to what i should do with the other island, i have a tunnel link to it so all the infrastructure is there, I was thinking of maybe putting in just offices there, making it a commercial island as there are quite a few unemployed elites and executives in the city?

OK as promised here is a new update.

    Population: 675,000

The island has been very slow to follow transportation with development, however finally the city got its first bus terminus, a total of 2 lines have been added serving the immediate downtown and outlying areas, more lines will be layed to serve the expanding suburbs

Here is an aerial view of the Low wealth areas that are located near the docklands

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_0-1.jpg

Here is an aerial view of one of the two islands, also note the airport to the east and the long beach front to the west of the island

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_1-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_2-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_3-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_5-1.jpg

Here is a view from Inishmore Regional hospital's roof looking in the direction, note the two tower cranes in that direction!

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_8-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_9-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_11-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_12-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_13-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_15-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_17-1.jpg

    cxl_screenshot_inismore_18-1.jpg

This view is very symbolic in Inishmore, the 8 towers are known as "the 8 brothers", all named after the 8 men who once founded the island, built a number of years ago to curb demand for low wealth dockers now stand as more than just residential towers loved by all the community

Excellent perspective with the pics. :) I really like that construction pic too, I've never seen one of those in a CJ before. Congrats on the 675,000 as well!

Thanks for the comments DC, you seem to be the only one who has an interest in the city!

    Population: 785,000

heres a small update, in this the other island has been upened up more, there is now a "loop" going from downtown inishmore to the other island via a bridge which then loops around via a tunnel to enter inishmore again by the airport.
