Planet Express

Ok some of you have seen me in the Live chat posting pics of this as I worked on it. So I'll start a thread about it int he proper forum. I was looking for something to try to model for SC4. I was watching Futurama on Adult Swim and thought the Planet Express was a great way to start out. So I did even checked the files to see if one was allready done. I've had alot of help in ideas and corrections from the people in Live Chat(especially ill_tonkso, and JT_144_2004). Here is the current Images from it.

Hey you watch Adult Swim aswell.Thats cool in my signature is a link to an Adult Swim thread.Oh and I don't know if you remember,but in chat I asked if you could make any buildings from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.I know this isn't a request thread,but you look like you have skill at this.

Anyway back on topic.You choose a good lot,but you should also make one with a river side embankment thing cause isn't the building next a river?

Wow that does look realistic great work so far and i happen to like futurama

and that is exactly like the building in the show i watch adult swim too but mostly

for futurama and family guy And i will definitly be downloading this when it's

uploaded.

I'd hate to ask this,but wouldn't it be better if you had the roof doors cracked open a little and you could see the top of the planet express ship.If that could be done it would really make this a perfect 10/10!

Right now I think it could go as is aswell.

Ya I used that first image to design the main building. And I could extend it out toward the sea and make it require sea and land tiles lol. About opening up the hanger bay doors. I'll consider it but can't promise that I'll be able to pull it off.

Great job! I agree that the brick texture makes the building look a little off though, mostly around the hanger.

Well I'm still Playing with the Textures and also if you watch the show the building is mostly just red but in several close up shots you see bricks.

Thats true belive it or not the building may be in the year 3000,but it does have bricks.I don't know why,but i find it odd the future would even have bricks....

Well i think you got the brick texture just right it's a little darker then

on the show but it isn't bad.

Wow that looks very much like the Planet Express Headquarters on the show. I would love to have that building in my cities. Its a great futuristic building too. Great Job.   

 

Please try to make other buildings from the show. We need more futuristic buildings. Can't wait til this building is out.

 

P.S. The brick texture actually looks pretty cool. I know the one on the show didnt have bricks, but it looks very neat this way in my opinion anyway.

There is a solid balcony on the back with a pool on it.
