Really a regrettable incident made much worse by the Internet. One supposes that the transcript was posted by the hoaxers themselves on U-Tube. Seems that facility is getting to be more and more to blame for untoward events. Are people that starved for information of this type that they leap on such occurrences? Doesn't say much for our civilization.

In my mind it is bullying.

Acting for one's own self pleasure /profit /notoriety, and not thinking about the victim and/or the consequences of one's actions.

The DJ's did not think for one minute about who the person answering the phone was or how she/he might feel about being 'pranked'. No, they did not anticipate the results, because they never really thought about it.

Advertisers have idolized bullies in video, screen and print... almost every new TV show is about a bully or groups of bullies as the main character.

Bullies for some reason are shown as heroes - when they usually are broken, hurting people.

We need new heroes.

What country is that? The Queen reigns but doesn't rule. I suppose one has republican leanings, but think about what would result without her and the rest of the Firm.
