1st of all......OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is PACKED with great stuff. Everyone seems very helpful.

I've been lurking here for more than a week. Each visit I find I'm more & more overwhelmed. So much to learn, discover, & try.

What I would like to do is create an entire region. I think that would be a lot of fun. Then of course, to ramp up the fun, I'd have to build cities on that region.

I would eventually, I think, like to create more in depth stuff.

There is some amazing talented folks on here.

A lot of terminology & references I will need to get a grasp of, in order to "keep up"......I've downloaded a few "toys" to add to my cities....as of right now, I am torn between game play and lurking here trying to soak up as much as possible.

Welcome to Simtropolis!!!

You have some awesome aspirations for the game. I can totally relate as well; I've been working on completing a whole region, and its a lot of hard work! Especially when your life gets in the way of you playing the game! But as you said, Simtropolis and the whole SC4 Community at large is still very much active and many people still play the game and create custom content. I'm sure you find that the more you "plug in" to the community by posting and contributing, the easier it will be to discover all that ST has to offer.

Check out the Omnibus, it is a large collection of various tutorials and articles regarding the game.
