Part 1: Window shifted up a few pixels.

It's mostly a minor cosmetic annoyance, but does anyone know what could be causing the window to be moved up a few pixels when in windowed mode?

    If it helps, my target is "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -w -intro:off

    Removing all plugins does nothing.

    Picture for reference (pre-plugin removal):

    Part 2: Fullscreen auto-minimising.

    The target this time is "C:\Program Files\Maxis\SimCity 4\Apps\SimCity 4.exe" -f -intro:off

Removing all plugins does nothing here as well. It is not a CTD, as the program is still running and can be maximised again for seconds at a time before automatically minimising itself again.

    General information:

I am running 32-bit Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC with a 2.20GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6600. There is 4GB of installed memory. My hard drive has 349GB free of a total capacity of 453GB.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

I have noticed the windowed mode shifting a couple of pixels too, as for the fullscreen minimising, this may sound weird but Firefox minimises fullscreen games if it is not maximised behind the game.

Doesn't happen on Linux/wine. Suspect something in your background processing, but set your task bar to be hidden and see what happens.

Is that FF3 or FF4 causing the problem?

    Sniper296: Thanks, that fixed it.

    A Nonny Moose: I'm running Firefox 3.6.16.

Hiding the taskbar made it possible for me to see the top of the window (the draggable bit with the minimise, maximise, and close buttons). I'll see if fiddling around with that does anything.

EDIT: OK, I found out what it was. It's the bottom border of the window. I feel a bit silly for not thinking of that now. Perhaps because my window colour is the same as that part of my wallpaper.
