I downloaded google sketchup a while a go and now i want to use it to make buildings. How do you do it?

There are two versions of SketchUp that I am aware of, a freeware version and a more powerful version which must be purchased. I've been playing around with the freeware version for over a year now, off and on,and had the same question (can I export objects drawn in SketchUp into my SC4 game and, if so, how?). I learned that yes it is possible but that one would require the purchased version of SketchUp to do so, as the created object must be saved as a certain file type and that particular "Save As" feature is not available in the freeware version. I never explored the matter further, so I do not know if this is true or not, just passing on what I was told on the subject.
