[Mac Problem?] Police Helicopter Sound.

Hello all,

I am fairly new to SC4. Started it for the first time last week, actually.

Anyway, I have build myself a nice city now with almost 100.000 citizens and a while ago I got the option to build the Deluxe Police Station.

Ever since I did I have been annoyed endlessly by this game...

The sound the helicopter makes just doesn't stop, not even a second. No matter where I am with my camera, even on the other side of the map,

I will still hear it when running the game in various speed modes (each one getting a bit more annoying) and pause mode.

Is this a known issue for the Mac version? Because it seems like a bug to me. A very annoying one. I love listening to the city sounds but this helicopter

makes it nearly impossible and forces me to either switch off the sound effects of the game or just quit after 5 minutes.

Is there a fix for this?

It also doesn't help that the helicopter is always flying over the airport, driving everyone nuts.
