You might have non-numeric, non-alpha characters in your password. Request a new password and it should solve the problem.

I did not have a non alpha-numeric password, (it contained capitals and numbers) but I needed to use the re-set function, before I could log in. I just reset it to what it was before and now it seems fine.

Yeah, I had that issue. I had a certain punctuation mark in my password and had to request a new one. Everything works now

It seems that some punctuation marks trigger the burp and others don't. Requesting a new password seems to solve the problem.

Are we still allowed to have those kinds of characters in our passwords? I like my passwords to be secure.

I had an ampersand (&) in my password which is a frequent source of ire for password systems (the really bad ones are the ones that will accept it as a password when creating an account, but then hose when I try to log on with it). It did not survive the upgrade, but I reset my password, including the ampersand, and can log on fine now, so it seems you can reset your password to your old one with your old punctuation and should be able to log on afterward with that old password after you have it reset.
