Hi guys. I'm completly new to modding Sim City 4. Only started looking at this site yesterday and trying to get my head around things.

Im just installing 4 things for now of the STEX to get started (NAM, industry quad, expanded RCI query and RTMT) and Im stuck on installing the RTMT mod.

Basically when I installed NAM the sim/capacity options I had were

    • Classic
    • Low
    • Medium
    • High
    • Ultra
    • Keep prev
    • build cust
    I chose medium.

    Now Im installing rtmt and its asking my NAM capacity config. I have the options of;
    • Standard NAM capacity settings
    • 2X NAM capacity
    • 5X NAM capacity
    • Radical NAM capacity
    • CAM
Which do I chose. Or are these two sets of setting actually unrelated...

it depends on how big you plan on making a city.

i started off with medium capacity but i realized that any area with development denser then rural (which is rather low) my RHW would become congested so i upgraded to "Ultra"

if your on the "medium" setting i would recommend 2X or 5X for the RTMT but ultimately it depends on how populated the city is and how dense the development is.

Choose any of the options for the initial RTMT installation.  Then download and install the RTMT Add-On Pack V3.60, and follow the instructions to install the "High" option, which will be the only option available as of the next RTMT release.  (Stations built with other options will still work, however.)
