How do I get rid of "My downloads"

How do I get rid of it, because mine is getting cluttered, and it is impossible to find anything.

I mean, you could delete the folder...

An easier way would be to select everything in the folder and delete it. I believe pressing "Ctrl+A" selects all the folders.

Well, the only way to organize your files is to do it manually. Come up with a system, put files into their appropriate folders. (deleting it all solves the problem, I suppose, but come on...)

It is also advisable that you change your browser settings to ask you where you want files saved to rather than just automatically saving them to the same folder every time. In Firefox this is done by going to Tools > Options... and then under the General Tab clicking "Always ask me where to save files".

I don't think there is anything to do about it. I tried it myself after buying a new computer to start from scratch but no luck.
