Love looking at old buildings in the Central Valley, was in Visalia a couple of weeks ago. The downtown area there still has that "old town" feel. Not like Bakersfield where I live, it seems that the city tries to erase it's past every chance it gets. Downtown is dismal and to the west is just urban sprawl, we have become a "bedroom" community for L.A. I fear.

A suggestion for this thread: Provide us with some pictures of the buildings - looking at Google Maps gets boring pretty fast. I like the idea, though. 3.gif

Thanks for the suggestion. One of the reasons I don't is because I want to limit the number of images i put on my imageshak account.
