Hi guys; long time, first time. Anyways, the title pretty much says it all, so after looking at the following two pictures, I wonder if anybody has any ideas about what I could have possibly downloaded from the STEX that made my copy of SC4 turn all trippy.

Wierd.  That image sort of looks like an airport.

Two things pop into my mind immediately.

first, check your in-game graphics settings.  They should all be on high

Second, look at your system graphics settings.  Any special features should be set so that the program selects them and they are not forced.

If it is a plugin problem, you can try to find it by moving the last set of downloads to a different folder and trying the game.  If you don't know which they are, then you should look around for various methods of finding bad plugins by binary search.  There are lots of threads on this, some by me, and I don't want to repeat it again.

Well, I took your advice and removed the last set of downloads, and a few after that, too. Eventually I ironed it out. Thanks for the help.

It is good that you have a record of your download order.  Saves the binary search if you can do it in less than nine trys.
