If you are to do a fresh install of windows, you should deactivate your game first so as to not trip of SecuROM.

ETA: You could also replace SecuROM with the earliest version compatibe with your OS, that usually removes most problems.

SecuROM que? whats that? Saw it flash by but isn't that just the activation of citiesXL? Well I have a legit version so no issue for me or is it?

BTW are there trains in this game? Have been looking around and even when I use the cheat buton I can't seem to find the trains and trainstations.

SecuROM is the DRM, there's (iirc) a 5-activation limit.

Passenger trains only, in Public Transport/Metro. The stations are underground-only, but you can raise the track same as you would with a bridge.

Ok I manually de-installed citiesXL and deactivated my registry key and then reinstalled it and activated my registry key again. Anyway it did work but did a fresh install just incase.

No Lancelot, no trains. Unless you install Globex' Unlocker mod - there are some trains there, but they're just an eye candy.

And before you ask or start swearing, we all eagerly await the development of trains for the game. Focus Home sure knows that this is maybe the most demanded feature for the game, so if they decide to continue developing at all, they're sure to implement trains in the (near?) future.

btw great mods I installed unlocker4 plus some extra mods to use and they are allready a great help for me building my city
