Saint Charles City

Well, first of all, I want to say that this is my first CJ, so don`t get surprised if you find anything strange on it, hehe.

Also, I want to mention that as I am from Costa Rica, my native language is Spanish, so be patient with my english!

Now, some info about my CJ:

I share the idea of begin building downtown and then the suburbs with luddmamm, so you will find many coincidences in the type of CJ that this is going to be. Obviously I use cheats and mods, because if not, my economy and city would collapse inmediatly. Then, also, Im not an expert at manipulating photos, so maybe in the beggining, you will find that practically all my screenshots are just...screenshots, not with any drawing...you know what I mean.

And so, after saying that:

Welcome to Saint Charles!

Saint Charles was founded in the late 1880`s, since then, it has had a lot of revolutions, and many democratic problems. But in the year 1950, a group of people decided that it was time to stop all this unstability, and they put an end to this. When finally people realized that a democratic city was better, they decided to start building a prosperous and big city, not only with a great quality of life, also, with the best education and health system.

Now, it has begun growing and the actual mayor: Gamur, a very talented guy, has made some mayor changes to the vision of the city, and many companies began to stablish in this well balanced city.

A pretty good example of this is the beautiful skyline of the city:

One of the symbols of the city, is the National Bank, aka the City Bank:

Also, one of the most ambicious ideas of the mayor, was to create from the beggining, a good management of the Public transport in St. Charles, so he decided to create the MCh: MetroCharles, with its respective HQ:

Then, by a complain of the Bus Transportists Union, the mayor decided to create the SB: SaintBus, also with its respective HQ:

As a final result, you get the: SCPT: St. Charles Public Transport, which manages both the SB and the MCh at the same time.

For the moment, the mayor also decided to publish a picture of one of the city`s best Hospital, called the St. Luke`s Hospital, and as it says at the beggining of the CJ, St. Charles has one of the best health system of all:

Well people, last week I had exams at school, so I couldn`t make a new update, but finally here it is!

So, for now, what has happened in the city?

For your information, the population is now at 792 000 people! And so, with this huge increase in the amount of people living in the city, it also has been a huge growth in the city`s area, so here you have what is NOW the actual Saint Charles:

For you to have an idea of how it is the view from the helicopter tour around the city, the mayor decided to post here a couple of pictures showing the city, and so, here you go:

There has been also a change in the way of developing the city, the mayor realized that many of the citizens were wishing for a place to go and pray, so, he decided not to make small churches everywhere, but to make a Cathedral!

It`s going to have the name of the city: Saint Charles Cathedral, and here is a picture of how it began:

As there has been a huge time-lapse between when it started and now, there`s a picture of how it is now the cathedral:

Now, the huge supermarket chain called Carrefour, has made it`s first market in Saint Charles, as they realized that the maret in here is really big...and still growing:

Also, the City Hall has changed, and now it`s a nice and pretty building:
