CXL 2011 now available for $20 on steam

I know - I'm a sucker, even though it's basically what CXL 2009 SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE, I'm downloading it already. $20 if you own CXL 2009.... I hope to post my first CXL 2011 city this weekend. Cheers!!!

I got it for 19 euros.

That's the price they sell it for in Europe Boris. There was a guy in CXL 2011 forums that made a 5 paragraph speech about the price diferences between USA and Europe (for games). It seems outrageous, but believe me - it's not. The economic realities are very different, and the European reality justifiec the bigger price.

Actually my own secret opinion is that stuff in USA is too cheap - not only games, but overall non-food products. It's an unrealistic economic system, build on consumption, and not on real cost of production. And now that consumption is diminishing, they're having huge problems 9.gif

    Keep in mind that almost all products sold in the US are made in China... The extreme capitalist model that encourages mass wasteful consumption (through nearly unlimited loans/credit cards and low-cost mortgages feeding low-density greenfield development) will eventually catch up to America... imho. Yes, EVERYTHING seems cheap here, BECAUSE there's so much of EVERYTHING.

    nm, theres a 50% discount on steam as well that I didn't notice before, that took my card so got it for £15.
