Deactivate or cancel cheat

My son entered the cheat code: "You don't derserve it", resulting in all award buildings available. I want to undo this cheat but don't know how. I tried everyting: entering it again, closing the game, restart the computer; nothing works (the awards still are available).

Anybody a solution? Thank you.

Hélas, that one sets a permanent switch in the city.  You would have to find it in the city file, and turn it off.  Some of the commands are toggles, but not this one, so I am afraid you are stuck with it.  Maybe you could find something to deprive him of that he no longer deserves, like playing on your city.

That's really odd, I always have to re-enter the cheat if I leave the city and enter it again. The only cheats that are "premanent" for me are the cheats for water and power.

No, since its saved in the city file, not the game. But usually this cheat is only temporary...

It is probably a "per city" cheat. You might wanna try starting another city and see if the cheat is still active. I am afraid there may be no way to fix this problem without re-importing the city from the original region. Re-installing the game probably will help in that it will overwrite the saved cities you have.

The "You don't deserve it cheat" is not a permanent cheat. It should deactivate after each exit. That's odd. If you can't figure it out I wouldn't waste your time reinstalling the game and going through all that. It's just the rewards, what's the harm in him haveing access to them. I use this cheat everyday...It's the only way I can get the rewards (My cities are 100% plopped). I've also noticed in the past certain little problems like this one throughout the game, I don't know what happens for everyone else, but when these kinds of things happen to me, they usually find a way to resolve itself. It's odd, but this is an odd game anyway
