Hello fellow sc4 players, probably this bug already have happened to you, so i hope somebody help me if possible.

The problem  is  when I launch SC4, everything is OK , except one city that don´t show yourself on the region map. The square is shown empty, but when I load the city , the city is loaded ok, but the damn hole in the region map is disturbing my transport and rural zone planning. Who knows the answer to this bug please gimme the tip to fix it. THX

This could be due to an improper save (the region image isn't updated). It could be caused by running the game in window mode and using 'alt-tab' to switch to a different program running at the same time. Or if some other program is running in the background. If this is the case, you could try closing all other programs while the game is running to save it properly.

Rare problem but not unheard of, especially if you use Vista or Win 7 64-bit as the O/S. You might want to check under My Documents (or simply Documents for Win 7) Simcity4 folder. Open the Regions folder there. All regions you have are listed there. Open the one you have problem with. You should see a bunch of City files with the sc4 extension. The ones that say "City - New City (##).sc4" are empty cities. The ones you have already played before will have the names you gave them. See if you can locate the one that is missing. If it is there then that means the save was faulty. In that case you might try to import that particular city into the missing area. Sometimes it helps.

Thank you , problem fixed, I loaded the game and the city, the first time the city wasn't saving, but I quited the game and loaded again and saved the city , I quited to region map and my city was there, no more tears.. LOL

Yep, just don't do anything whilst saving to region.... almost caused a small stroke here lol

I had this happen recently.  A timer program for a reminder interrupted the save and the region showed a blank tile.  Thanks to all the discussion here, I immediately re-entered the city and did a manual save.  The snapshot was restored.
