Fatal Error

Hi.

When i attempt to start the game, all it says is " CitiesXL.exe - Fatal error: CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate"

I have no idea what to do! Please help me!

If you can give us some information regarding your system, like video card and processor, amount of ram, etc. That helps a lot. Also, did you just purchase the game, or did this just come up. Did you try reinstalling the game?

It should be a problem with .NET frameworks...

Download ONLY the latest frameworks... then remove all the versions you have installed in your pc and install the ones you downloaded. That will solve the error you have at the moment... no need to reinstall the game, it won't solve anything.

Globex, you are right. Installing .NET Frameworks should do the trick, although also having the computer specs also helps.

Ok so i fix it, i removed the old .Net frameworks and installed a newer one, so the game now currently works. Thankyou for the help!
