Park-to-shore transition

I like Parkland along shores...not beaches...just parks.

the problem lies in making a park appear to run to the shoreline...often you get that "off" appearance from the park tiles to the unzoned land, and of course, you have to stop well short of the shore, or you get that sand/park green harsh difference.

The only real solution has always been to stop short of the shore and use trees as a buffer.

Is there a way to get the parks to the shore?  Something that could transition park green lots to the unzones sands or water?

Raise some of the land so its not a beach and use marrasts overhanging embankments along the waterline with parks and pedmalls connected
