ok i dabble in 3D a little and goof with lot editor--but BAT is so Archaic and frustrating--plus i dont know all the set standards and requirements to creating my own 3D models so they would fit easily in the game. So the next best thing would be to ask seasoned pros that know SC4 and BAT what it takes to get it right.

Ok SC wont let you put a water on an elevated surface(LAME) the only options are get ploppable water or a stream mod wich i have yet (no offense) to find one that is very applicable when it comes to landscapes. Now I know it sux when someone doesnt appreciate what you do --but I do seriously-i do. I also work in the grx field and know that collect thinking and an opened mind are what makes the usual --meanigful. SO I would like to know why this hasnt been done yet::::::

Ok take a 3D square sized1x1lot raised enough that it could be placed next to a boardwalk or wall to give the effect(not looking to have it fit boardwalks  --not my main concern)--so take the 3D raised square and put on the bottom various floor textures---riverbeds,rock riverbeds(big and small)(granite, brown,&mixed)then on the  four sides and the top put a semi-transparent texture/tint(whatever is used to sim water----now you have a 3D ploppable water but to give it even more realism take it even further and add a wave like animation to sim the waves of water(make four that water flows Left, right,up, and down---to give the user workability) BAM---there is a real looking water that has depth and feel. You could even take it to the max and do diff color waters, but even better put inside the box schools of fish maybe(not really asking but more wishful thinking lol) you could even use various species for regions  catfish, pike, stergeon salmon for a users desired region(just and idea) or even make 4X4 with fishing boats and stuff or ones with wooded islands or ones with sunken logs or beaver damns--------do you get the feel of what im saying?

I mean it could be endless-ice,logging,ppl swimming---and maybe  an ocean on like with sharks or a coral reef(or in my case GULF OF MEXICO OILSPILL)lol----then you can take a boardwalk like lot and make it into a transitional water bank instead with rocks and trees  to give it optional shapes and seamless ladscaping. So honestly if you could make just at least four lots with the land a water set up i suggested i would be more than happy but if you could expound on my ideas that would make it epic lol--so please let me know if this doable or why it isnt  or if you dont feel up to the challenge or just slammed with request----you were said to be best so i went to yall first--hope to hear something soon
