 Couple of days back i was looking for a release date for cities xl 2011, and i found one. Supposedly it is coming out in september this year if this is true or not i don't know.

But at least there is some hop!

sry but i can't remember just type in cities xl 2011 release date on google and it is in the small print somewhere, but like i said i'm not sure but i think it was Citiesxl wikia.com or something like that

Yeah, sorry, I think this was just someone's guesstimate or maybe they were told something at some point, but even if it was ever right, I'd say so much has changed now that this isn't reliable at all.

I think we need to wait until we find out who bought CXL and what their plans are.

There are finally now some news stories trickling out but they mostly just say what Gregory said (some actually quoting the post here at Simtropolis). Though a bunch appeared in the last day or two in French and German and I haven't bothered to run translate on all of them...

I remember this information being posted in another thread about CXL 2011, back when they announced the end of the PO. My guess is that the site assumed that it would be in September, since that's a common time we start seeing the release of the next year versions.

I think stef 42 is right because i first saw that before MC went bankrupt so it is probably not true, but you never know!
