adding NAM components

 Hi,

so this is probably a stupid question, but I can't seem to find the exact answer to it (either in the forums or the NAM documentation folder):

If I want to add a NAM component (let's say the file "NetworkAddonMod_TurningLanes_Extension_Plugin.dat"), can I install the NAM to an alternate location the copy/paste the file to the proper location, or do I actually have to reinstall the NAM and then reinstall other addons such as the RHW and NWM?

any help much appreciated!

The simplest way to do this is just to reinstall the NAM over the current installation. It's not necessary to reinstall the RHW, NWM, etc.

thanks! it worked great, although for some reason I can't get avenue turning lanes to work (even though the file is present). Oh well, thanks again

Are you saying that when you draw a full avenue intersection (nice and long in each direction), you get no turning lanes at all?

yeah that's right, even though I have the avenue turning lanes plugin. maybe its a conflict with something else?
