re-install

i reinstalled sim city, do i need to reinstall all my plugins to get it work properly? i guess i just update my game and reinstall NAM...? i left my plugins in my folder and didnt erase my saved game.....

Your plugins should all still work if you didn't delete them, even the NAM if you already have it. You may need to install the updates again, but I'm not sure.

Your saved games should all work too.

To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

You will need to apply the update patch again. Many things you may have had before (particularly NAM) will need it. As astronelson mentioned, your saved regions and associated plugins should work fine as long as they're in the appropriate folders in your new install.
