Yeah, I remember they did... the just destroyed themselves and a message appeared saying 'Your Citizens have left for the distant system of Alpha Centauri' or something to that effect.

The Plymouth Arco is in Sim Mars... thats all I thinks been made, realisticly speaking.

This thread is old as well... remaking old stuff mustn't have really caught on, people like to think for themselves... Arco's have had their time.

Then again, if you feel like making some... learn to bat 3.gif

I always loved the launch arcos. It was great when they all just randomly launched!

I'm making an Arcology. It has skyscrapers, a rail line and a parking lot...

It has the CN Tower near the top and had Parking Garages as walls...

Only problem is this:

How do I solve it? I can rotate, but it won't fit, so how do I flip it?

If it's behaving like in the game (it seems like the standard texures), you need two tiles of it diagonally before it can change direction. But don't take it from me -- I couldn't bat for my life.

I've seen it being proper for a Grand Railroad Station and an Airport. They have all the tiles, but when I build like a corner in the airport, for some reason it just does not fit... How do they do it in an airport, that's already in the game (not 3rd party!)

Besides my problem isn't with the game stuff. I can build a railroad line in the game. I need to know how I can use the Lot Editor to make a diagonal. That is not a diagonal

@Stylesrj: To flip a texture or overlay texture in the Lot Editor, choose the texture you want, and then press the "m" key on the keyboard. Think of it as "m" for "mirror."

However, you may have to play more with that rail turn you are attempting to make, as even when flipped it doesn't look like the textures will align correctly into the curvature you are attempting to make.

Thanks for that...

But what would you suggest? So yes the textures don't match now, I tried adding another turning piece, but that didn't work... how would you solve the problem?

2 yrs later, lol...But this is an ingenious solution to the arcology problem.  I'm not sure why others haven't latched onto this concept.  I have neither the time nor the skill to pull something like this off, but wow...modular connectivity.
Would someone please make good on this??29.gif

But it has to be big. I don't want anything large and squat. If it's going to be 25x25 tiles, then it has to be really tall.

Think about it. An arcology that looks like a Forest or Launch Arcology, hold a lot of middle class people and it dominates the city skyline!quote>

want a big, tall arcology? how about the TRY 2004 (as in 2004 meters high) It may (however) fill out a whole medium sized city!
