I read somewhere that a sim doesn't walk more than 6 à 8 tiles to get to a busstop. I don't know if this is true, but I was wondering if there is an indication of the distance between

...  two subway stations;
... busstops;
... railroad stations.

Does anybody knows that?

That was only in the original Maxis traffic simulator. In the current NAM traffic simulator, Sims will walk as far as they have to. However, the longer they have to walk, the more likely it is that they'll just hop into their cars and drive instead. There is a limit to this, though; some Sims don't have cars, and will therefore walk as far as they need to, even if it means walking all the way to work.

In general, putting more stops along a mass transit route will increase the usage of the route, while fewer stops will result in less usage. Other than this general principle, there is no ideal distance between stops, though.
