Fictional Modern/Futuristic Gothic Skyscrapers

I love the look and feel of the Shape and style of Gothic, Gothic Revival, and Neogothic. Most of the skyscrapers influenced by the gothic style were shaped like regular skyscrapers with gothic designs. I like the gothic designs and the gothic shape so I have drawn buildings with gothic style with 20th century building shapes (like the Woolworth building) and I have drawn buildings with a modern style but a stylized and eccentuated gothic shape (like the one below).

I have drawn Modern/Futuristic Gothic Skyscrapers since 2006. I have gone through several designs from Neo-Gothic and Gothic-Revival skyscrapers to streamlined Skyscrapers with flying butresses.

Here is my latest design. It has a trapazoidal roof (pyramid without a top) with a bronze bottom half and a gold top half. The glass facade is tinted torquoise with a blue tint for the top floor (mistake in the top picture) and partially submerged floor. The buttresses are a light cement color and the flying buttresses are a dark concrete color, both of with are strengthened reinforced concrete.

Made using Microsoft Paint (XP version, not Windows 7 version).

I have some of my earlier versions uploaded on my Image Shack account.

Please discuss the Gothic shapes and styles of skyscrapers in this thread. Everything from Cathedrals to the Woolworth Building to New Crobuzon to Gotham to my designs and anything similar is welcomed.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

    Thank you!

    OR

Yes, Seattle is a wonderful place to live.

I based this building extremely roughly on Westlake Center. In one design, the lower flying buttresses supported monorail.

EDIT: Here are some examples of Gothic architecture.

    There:

    Gotham.jpg

EDIT: I usually think of Gotham as a mixture of Dark Art Deco and Neo Gothic Revival. In Tim Burtan's version, it also had Twisted Art Novou, Deconstructionist Mordernist, and other bizzare styles mixed together incongruesly.

Are you talking about the tallest building in the last picture (of Gotham)?

I have a few more images of Neo-Gothic skyscrapers. They are the white and gold buildings and they house the Elites in City Life.

Thank you, but are the heights not supposed to be up to 800px in width if they are no more than 600 px tall? That would make 240,000 pixels total. I am going to stay on the safe side and make the last one 600x621.
